Overview
This 46,000 acre private ranch, located in the fertile La Pampa province, offers ideal conditions for excellent populations of several big game species, including Russian Boar, Black Buck Antelope, Puma and Red Stag. The ranch is approximately 450 miles from Buenos Aires, the easiest option is therefore a flight from Buenos Aires to Bahia Blanca (1hr) and then a private ground transfer (2hrs). Private charters are also available.

Hunting
Programs include night hunts for Russian boar and Puma hunts on horseback. All operations at Los Araucanos are strictly fair-chase hunts – this is not a high fence shoot. Excellent pigeon shooting is also available at Los Araucanos, making for a complete hunting experience as our clients are able to enjoy both big game hunting and wingshooting at once on the same property. For the avid upland hunter, perdiz shooting over pointing dogs is not to be missed at Los Araucanos, with four different species in abundance on the property. Non-shooting activities include horseback riding, bird-watching, or simply relaxing in the Argentine countryside.

Accommodations
One of the unique aspects of Los Araucanos is our African Safari style camp where guests will sleep in tents, with all the comforts you expect from a first class lodge. All of this with the added experience of being deep in the “Argentine Bush” overlooking a picturesque lagoon with abundant waterfowl as the green grasslands of Los Araucanos stretch into the distance. Excellent cuisine compliment your hunting experience, with Argentina´s famed meat and fine wines.

Sample Itinerary (flexible)

Day 1
Arrival at Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires where an ArgentinaOutfitters representative will assist you with customs.  Transfer to the domestic airport.  Flight from Buenos Aires to Bahia Blanca (1hr).  Transfer to the estancia (about 2 hours).  Tour of the ranch.  Early dinner, followed by a night hunt for Russian Boar.  Dinner, drinks and overnight accommodation at the ranch.

Days 2 to 4
Hunting for various species depending on the preferences of the guest.  Dinner, drinks and overnight accommodation at the ranch.

Day 5
Morning hunt.  Return to lodge after morning hunt for lunch and packing.  Transfer to Bahia Blanca Airport after lunch for return flight to Buenos Aires.  Arrival in Buenos Aires and transfer to Ezeiza International Airport or hotel.
