FISHING / San Huberto

As a guest, you are invited to enjoy to the fullest the carefully tended hospitality of San Huberto Lodge. Located at the riverside of the Malleo River in Northern Patagonia, the main lodge can accommodate 16 guests in four (4) single and six (6) double rooms, some of which are accessible by disabled persons. It is the lodge’s self-imposed policy to limit fishing guests to just twelve (12) rods at any one time in order to insure low angling pressure to the river, helping to maintain the highest quality fishing experience that has become San Huberto’s trademark.  The other four (4) spaces are filled by non-fishing guests and companions that come to enjoy alternative activities and services. All rooms have private bathrooms, International and National Direct Dialing phone service, pampering amenities, hair dryers and WiFi Internet service.

Full boarding include all meals from Carmen Olsen’s famous kitchen arranged in a carefully planned daily menu based on fresh and organic produce from the lodge’s very own vegetable garden and livestock ranch.  Beverages are included in meals, while your choice of top wines are also available for your selection from San Huberto’s  choice cellar. An evening open bar for animated conversation over a before-dinner cocktail is served at the bar on the lounge on the first floor as a prelude to a magnificent dinner.

A lavish Sunday evening asado and delicious empanadas is a much-anticipated culinary feast that takes place at in special barbecue house. Many frequent guests plan their visits to specifically include Sunday night in their booking so as not to miss this special event delivered in the traditional gaucho way.

Electricity is 220 Volts, available 24 hours a day. Laundry service, massages by trained professional staff, a select gift shop, an outdoor welcoming Jacuzzi, a registered runway for small aircraft and a tennis court are all available features carefully chosen to minister to the comfort of guests.
