Argentina Outfitters

BIG GAME / National Park

National Park, Neuquen Province, Argentina

Argentina Outfitters guarantees an unmatched Red Stag hunting experience in the Patagonian Andes. Deep inside the National Park in the prime areas of the Andes, we have three base camps. These camps reside south of San Martin de los Andes city and cover an area of 50,000 acres. For the last 3 years, Argentina Outfitters has been the only outfitter authorized to use the area. This freedom has given us the opportunity to research and conserve its precious resources. It has also allowed us to provide an amazing hunting experience to our clients. The vegetation in the area is diverse and comprises of wooded forest, to open areas, and mallins.

The Hunting
In the National Park, one guide accompanies one hunter for morning and afternoon hunts, returning at mid-day to base camp for lunch. Due to the terrain, the hunting is done on horseback in order to reach the observation spots and then approach the animal. The horses allow the hunter to have a much more enjoyable hunting experience (there is no need to have prior experience since the horses are well trained). There are a large number of Red Stags in this area and each year we harvest excellent quality trophies.

Accommodations
The lodging is composed of a comfortable array of large individual tents. In camp there are caterers for the hunters, linens, shower bells and a dinner tent. The tents are strategically located near a stream and prepared for wind conditions.
